Citizen Forester Training Wednesdays (6:30-8:30pm) and Saturdays (9:00am-1:00pm), April 15th through May 23rd Coming in April - a series of 12 classes taught by FUF staff and premier guest speakers! For those of you who are experienced tree care and planting volunteers here is an opportunity to deepen your knowledge and experience with trees. Become a Citizen Forester, and become a leader in the FUF community!

What is a Citizen Forester?
Simply put, Citizen Foresters are FUF's elite "Tree Corp". With their experience in the field, and premier training in many areas of San Francisco Urban Forestry, Citizen Foresters are leaders in the FUF volunteer community.

How do I become a Citizen Forester?
Sign up for our upcoming Citizen Forester training! Taught by premier guest speakers and our own FUF staff members, the training consists of six Wednesday night lectures, each followed by a Saturday morning field day.

How much will it cost?
FUF will entirely sponsor any volunteer who commits to spending 50 hours (about one day per month for a year) volunteering in a leadership position with FUF- we want you to put your new skills to work!

Otherwise, if you just want to take an individual class (Wednesday/ Saturday combo) the cost is $35, and the entire series (without a volunteer commitment) costs $200.
